In the old days, the wife always did the cooking. Why is that? Supposedly, because the man was out working and whatnot, blah blah. But why do a lot of couples still follow these gender norms even when the wife is out being the breadwinner? Women do not inherently come with the skill of being able to cook, and it is the same with men. It's a basic human skill that's learned when it's time to provide meals for yourself. Some men are so far in their heads that after growing up with their mothers cooking everything for them, they lean on their wives to take on the next shift.
Well, even though this wife is compiling to her husband's wishes to cook meals for him, he has the audacity to complain that she's a terrible cook. But then he takes it a step further to rave about how good of a cook her mother and sister are when they go to visit them when his wife learned all of her cooking skills from her family. So, when her entitled husband requested they hire a personal chef, his wife took matters into her own hands.
